Our numerous public private partnerships (PPP) and long-term agreements with state-owned railways ensure we continually invest in locomotives, wagons and specialised equipment. This means our customers benefit from the most up-to-date equipment and infrastructure, such as gensets for reefers, swap bodies for general cargo, and tank containers for liquids and gases.
We offer extensive last mile delivery to your door by integrating road and rail transportation via our broad scope of intermodal solutions, no matter where you are located. This includes last mile coverage to distances away from port or rail terminals.
We can also organize high frequency shuttles and block trains (dedicated trains for a single customer transporting goods directly from A to B) which connect to and from various terminals, thanks to our considerable volumes.

We provide specialized training services in the railway sector that cater to specific skills.
Theoretical and practical classes are taught in our MEDWAY Training Centre in Madrid, Spain, and are designed for a range of railway profiles.
We have other general training centres in Spain, Portugal and Belgium, all of which have been approved by the relevant national Railway Safety Agencies (NSA) in these three countries.

MEDWAY is MEDLOG’S rail operator that can cater for your reefer cargo. We offer a fast, high-quality service that is flexible, safe and prevents disruption along the logistics chain.
Our wagons are equipped with reefer generators that are ready to operate for up to 70 hours non-stop, and are equipped with track & trace.
We are the only provider of such a service in Iberia. We have developed it in-house as a cost-effective solution allowing customers to transport critical temperature-controlled cargo via rail.

Safety and reliability are key pillars of the MEDWAY service promise, and are the foundation upon which our customers run their business. Rolling stock that is kept in optimum condition prevents breakdowns, which can cause delays and disruptions to customers supply chain.
MEDWAY’s multidisciplinary Maintenance & Repair team maintain locomotives, wagons and intermodal equipment for the duration of their full lifecycle.
MEDWAY Maintenance & Repair Portugal is an ECM (entity in charge for maintenance) certified by TUV Reinhaland on 13.06.22 for both freight locomotives and wagons, and it covers wagons specialized in transport of dangerous goods.
We also have five mobile workshops that can quickly intervene to fix any problems with our locomotives.

Inland waterways offer an efficient alternative to road and rail transport. Despite their size, barge services are fast, reliable and competitive, connecting a growing number of river terminals.
